Halloween’s happened and everyone knows what comes next. Thanksgiving stuffing, relatives for better or worse, then the partying, socializing, frivolity of Christmas, which is no fun and actually detrimental to your health if you’re alone and lonely. My Healthy, Sexy, Happy program is a balanced approach to mind, body, spirit wellness. Going through the holidays alone and depressed doesn’t fit in with that ideal. For that reason, I thought I would write about online dating.

Why I Will Never Have Another Mammogram

I’ve had a few mammograms. The experiences were horrendous. My breasts were (one by one) roughly pulled and manipulated as far away from my chest wall as possible and positioned onto cold steel plates where they were mechanically compressed and then irradiated with ionizing radiation to create photographic images. All three times I went home and applied ice packs to my breasts and hoped that there wasn’t any permanent damage.
