SO YOU WANT TO WRITE A BOOK

I always knew I would write a book someday, but I could have never painted a picture of how my writing career ended up developing. In my 20 years of writing I’ve produced three health books co-written with doctors, one sole authored health book (Death by Supermarket), two cookbooks (don’t discount them because they were the most work I have ever done on a writing project), and two novels Karma and Love Children. Eight books in 20 years.

RESISTANCE KILLS CREATIVITY—AND YOU

There are books that come along in my life that I end up reading every few years. One such book is The War of Art: Break Through the Blocks and Win Your Inner Creative Battles by Steven Pressfield. This 163 page book with double spaced text is so easy to read and compelling.

WHEN YOU CAN’T GET INTO A BOOK

By “on stage,” I mean the reader is seeing the action and hearing the dialogue that occurred as it unfolds. So you are witnessing a drama occurring before your eyes. This is so much more interesting to me than hearing about it in retrospect.

HENNA TATTOOS

Henna is not exclusive to women. If you travel in Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and India you’ll see gray haired men who have died their beards with henna (not sexy….).
